Note: For all patches and things, your first stop should be http://dlh.net/patches. After here, of course =).

All of these files will be availably at the lan party, but it never hurts to be prepared:

Important Network Updates:

The following will require a restart of the computer and update a lot of network components (which you might want to remove afterwards)
They probably won't work with Windows 98 but they will work with 95
Please install these in the order described on the Network Setup page:

vipup11.exe - This one updates the Microsoft IP drivers
vtcpup11.exe - Same, but TCP drivers
ws2setup.exe - This one updates your Microsoft winsock version to 2.0, which means more stability and speed for both lan and internet connections
msdun13.exe - This one updates the Microsoft dial-up networking updates. Not useful at a lan party, but they work well with winsock 2

Quake - Hosted here at FortuneCity

Latest version of Quake is on most CDs now, so I'm not putting one up here because of the filesize.
qw230.exe - This is the latest QuakeWorld client - Basically a multiplayer Quake version with loads of bugfixes
qw233-005.zip - This is a new .exe file for the new QuakeWorld client, a couple more bugs fixed
glq1114.exe - Latest version of glQuake for 3dfx users like me =)

Quake II - Hosted at livewire in Brisbane

q2-3.20-x86-full.exe  - Latest version (13Mb). For Capture the Flag as well, click here.

Unreal - Hosted in Australia at some unknown location

unrealb220.zip - Latest version of Unreal, lots and lots of multiplayer fixes. Requires the CD and about 150Mb of virtual memory

Ignition - Hosted here at FortuneCity

ign_win.zip - Updated ign_win.exe fixing speed, single player and multiplayer issues.
ign_v3.zip - An ign_3dfx.exe for 3dfx users, including the fixes from ign_win.zip
